Profile:

My name is Jasmine, but I go by "Jas" or "Jay". Many people inspire and influence me in some way. I have a passion for performing arts and wish to pursue a career in either acting or singing. 

My Interests:

I LOVE music. My favourite artists include: One Direction, SHINee (샤이니), Super Junior (슈퍼추니어), Chris Brown, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Drake, Got7 (갓 세븐) and so on...

One Direction

1D were formed on The X Factor in 2010. I have been a fan since 2013. My favourite album by them so far has to be 'FOUR'. My favourite song off the album has to be either 'Stockholm Syndrome' or 'Steal My Girl'. Even though past member; Zayn departed from the group this year, I feel that their new album; 'Made in the A.M.' depicts them as a more stronger, bonded group. I recently saw 1D on their tour 'On The Road Again' on 28th September :)

SHINee


SHINee is a South Korean Kpop group. SHINee is the second Kpop group I'd ever heard of! The first was a group called 2NE1 through friends. I discovered SHINee this year through social media. They debuted in 2008. I enjoy their music and my favourite song by them is 'Married to the Music'. My favourite solo song by member; Taemin (in the middle) is Danger :).

Super Junior

Super Junior is another South Korean Kpop group. I discovered Super Junior (SuJu) this year also. They debuted in 2005. I enjoy their style and appearances as they appear to be sophisticated individuals. My favourite song by them is 'Mr Simple'. Due to compulsory Military Service in Korea, some members are currently on a two year hiatus from the group.

Chris Brown

Debuting in 2005 also, I feel that Chris Brown always releases a good song, without fail. One of my favourite songs by him has to be either 'Kiss Kiss' or 'X'.  After a certain 'incident' back in 2009... I feel as though his music has improved since as he tries to forget the past. One of my favourite albums by Chris Brown has to be 'Fame'.

Rihanna

Another artist to debut in 2005 is Rihanna. Rihanna has her own unique style of singing, which is what I enjoy the most about her. One of my favourite songs by her, featuring another artist, 'T.I' has to be 'Live Your Life'. I believe Rihanna always stays true to herself and that's why I believe she is a good artist.

Drake

I first heard of Drake in the summer of 2009 and one of the first songs I heard from him was 'Find Your Love'. Drake's flow of rapping is so great and which is why I admire him and his songs. My favourite song by Drake as of now has to be 'Hotline Bling'.

Nicki Minaj

I'd say Nicki Minaj is influential to other aspiring female rappers in the world. I like Nicki's style and how she raps. One of my favourite sings by her has to be either; 'Pills n' Potions', 'Super Bass' or 'Moment for Life' featuring Drake. I first heard of Nicki Minaj back in 2009 as well. She recently got engaged to fellow rapper; Meek Mill.








Got7

Got 7 is another Kpop group I discovered this year. Debuting in 2014, Got7 released their single; 'Girls, Girls, Girls'. Got7 consists of Korean, Chinese and Taiwanese members, making them quite a multilingual group. Kpop groups are taught how to speak other languages, including English. I took an interest to Got7 because of their style and their choreography. I enjoy their dance routines as I believe they're all talented.

• Learn Korean (I'm not that good, but I'm getting there!)
• Creatively write
